Our faculty represents the diversity of Jewish backgrounds that mirror our student composition. JOLT teachers have a love of and talent for teaching teens and a commitment to openness of expression in the classroom.
NOTE: Our faculty rotates throughout the trimesters.

Subie Banaszynski works for the Union for Reform Judaism as the Director of Operations for NFTY North America. She holds a MSW from Washington University with a specialty in youth and has taught middle and high school students at Congregation Shaare Emeth for 10 years. Subie brings a great deal of social work and life experience to her teaching.

Robert "Bob" Cohn is Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the St. Louis Jewish Light. At JOLT, he teaches "Jews 'R' News," a current events class from a Jewish point of view. Bob draws upon his more than 40 years of association with the St. Louis Jewish Light, our community newspaper.

Rabbi Ryan Dulkin is an advanced doctoral candidate in the field of Midrash at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He has served as an educator in a variety of settings, including the Melton Mini-School of Westchester, New York, CAJE’s Hebrew High and the Solomon Schechter Day School of St. Louis.

Betsy Enger is an amazing chef and educator. She serves as the
Mashgichah, Kosher supervisor at Congregation B’nai Amoona. Betsy loves sharing her passion for Jewish cooking with campers and students. When she is not in the kitchen, Betsy loves to get away and travel.

Jordan Kadosh has been teaching in the St. Louis Jewish Community since 2002. He's currently a regional organizer for the Missouri Coalition for
Lifesaving Cures.

Andy Schwebel moved to St. Louis from Scottsdale, Arizona where he served as an Assistant Director of a religious school for five years and most recently, he served as the Director of Experiential Education for a Jewish community high school.  His focus is on middle school and high school programming.  He enjoys creating curriculum and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Education at Congregation B'nai Amoona.
