THE WHIZIN INSTITUTE FOR JEWISH FAMILY LIFE

The Shirley and Arthur Whizin Institute for Jewish Family Life is committed to educating professionals and lay people who are interested in creating and implementing Jewish family education. The central vehicle for this work is the annual Whizin Institute in Jewish Family Education held annually the last week in June at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles, California.

The goal of this Institute is to enable participants to return to their home institutions with an understanding of Jewish family education based on the theory, models, skills, and planning processes taught during the course.

This year's theme was Celebrate Your Passion FOR JEWISH EDUCATION with three exciting programs:

  • The Whizin Institute for Jewish Family Education
  • The Summer Institute for Jewish Educators
  • Bringing Jewish Texts to Life
